Intro to UV Mapping and Texturing

For Week 3’s tutorial, we had to take these three objects and unwrap and texture them using Maya and Photoshop.

I found out through this challenge that, for some reason, because I use a macbook the checker map sets everything to wireframe mode, which is less than ideal. Thankfully I was able to work out how to apply a checker texture manually. It’s still a bit awkward and requires extra steps, but it’s better than trying to work without it.
