When creating designs, I sometimes struggle with thinking outside the box or creating more designs because I usually like the first or second design that I think of. Clearly here I was obsessed with having the rebel have cape or robe to hide her self as a member of a rebellious group.I struggled in that area. Given the fact that I was sick and that my team landed on my character design, I’m honored that mine was picked. I also think the colour scheme of the character design works well with the blue background as yellow is the complementary colour of blue. Originally we had muddier, dirtier colours to symbolized that she lives and comes from the slums of the dystopia but we opted for this one because it was more legible in contrast to the backgrounds and more reliable to animate.

Some of my teammates found the detail of my character design too difficult to redraw so Zoe had to simply it. I think the different art style that my team members have are unique and I really like their own versions of my character so it would be interesting to see their take on it.
