Crusader Helmet
Blender
I was tasked to make my own 3D helmet I decided to try replicate an old Crusader Helmet, something I thought would be intrusting to try and I would be able to make. It also links back to the theme of the middle eastern sword theme.
I created the helmet by starting with a cylinder modifying it to the shape i wanted. Later added the cross plate at the front. All the holes in this helmet were difficult to make and took a while but I now learnt a more practical way of making them in blender of substance.

Substance Painting
landscape setting
In making the desert landscape I used a plane mesh and then used some modifier such as displace and subdivision. I learnt a Voronoi texture that help make the shapes into making the desert look and had to move the softness. For the light source I just put in Sky texture and lower the strength.
