For my Display I want it to be cute a colourful! very eyecatching from far away!! I’m going for a decorated classroom vibe with the overall look.

I was having issues with my table cloth as it’s made of paper its already been ripped when the poster was being put up and again when I bumped against it. I really wanted a bright dandelion kind of yellow for my table and I searched every where I could for that colour of table cloth. i was un lucky in that until I found a roll in sew n’ sew

I was in charge of the INSTAGRAM! I was posting on the stories and on the account!

Ciara had the idea to do an easter egg raffle. We decorated 3 baskets and took promotional pictures. Ciara was in charge of the funds so any money was going through them! Josh and Adam did the poster. Ciara and I printed them and I put the posters up around the school as well as posting daily on the INSTAGRAM story to build up hype for the raffle.

PUB QUIZ

Me, Ciara and Lel set up a pub quiz. I contacted the bar and organised the venue/ time and date.

Ciara and I set up the presentation and hosted the event! Ciara was in charge of the Event Brite and money. Poster was made by Josh Graham and Adam Bell.

We made £30 from this event

SHOWCASE LAYOUT-MANNY AND LEL 

Lel and I mapped out the room together to figure out how many table could fit where. Lel then took over for this,asking the students to claim their tables,using last years plan I created a mock up of the room

we decided together to count up ( using our document) the themes of the films and split the room into those themes for the layout, which can be seen below!

LAYOUT

Me and Ciara worked together on Friday(09/05/25) with Andrew to unplug and put the computers to the side and clean the tables, me and Ciara worked hard to put as many tables in their places as soon as possible. We worked on the edge tables first. We cleaned the room as well by brushing up the floor removing chairs and white boards for the rooms

On the Monday (12/05/250 Arlo came in to help us move the remaining tables and helped us manage the layout. During the clean up Andrew had taken some tables away/moved some around so the layout had changed. I had also assigned tables for students that didn’t message before the deadline

 

INDENT 

This will be worked on until the 18th of May as that’s the deadline for this banner! I’ve been quite diligent with this and have been checking the folders for uploads daily

I think my cards turned out so well! I love them! The qr code works perfectly!

Though they weren’t what I had planned initially, (irregular shape, cut out elements and no QR code). I realized through the designing and through tutor and peer feed back that it was a lot neater and nicer to have just the QR. Though I tried to add my email, it was too small or obstructed the cards design. Henry gave me a lot of very helpful feedback and he encouraged us all to keep to the classic business card size and shape as it is easier to store away, and I came to agree with that! its interesting to see my thought process and how much my idea had changed throughout the making of these cards!

Audios are copyrighted but I have seen a lot of professional and novice showreels with copyrighted music! I have also edited these tracks, with cultured cat being the heavily edited one as I have spliced 3 different versions of the chorus together , created a pause/ impact moment along with a fade out ending!

For my showreel I put some older animations that I liked into after effects and edited them with the skills I learnt from my movie! To add a fresh coat of paint onto them and also improve my comp skills!

Because I dont have a lot of fully finished and coloured animations Henry suggested I do a project showreel instead i wrote down his feedback when he gave it to me. I decided to go for the Major Project showreel he suggested but I also am going to keep the original one for now in my cv as I do like it and will edit it when I have more to show!

CV DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

I struggle with CV writing and designing so I want this one to be really well put together and clear! I compare and contrast as well ad critique my own cvs here!

 

 

CV MOODBOARDS

I have made 2 CV reference Moodboards! One for information and layout that I like and the other for style and design.I personally like to choose CV’s from past students, tutors and students that have had placements or jobs. I chose all of these CV’s as I like them all! I am not trying to critique anyone’s CV in these moodboards. They are purely for reference for my own!

 

CV DESIGNS BASED ON MY REFERENCES 

 

 

Henry told me to pick my favorites and develop them! Through those developments I landed on teh one that is outlined in red. I thought it was fun but simple enough to clearly display the information!

Before rewriting my CV I did some studio research, finding job listings that I am interested in and going through them seeing what exactly they are asking from me!

 

I drew my little Persona for my CV! I like the way it turned out, I used pink and green as it is a combo I’ve been using for a long time and I thought that the new pink accent made my brand a lot fresher.

 

 

Henry helped me with the wording as Its something I have issues with, Unfortunately I forgot to record the changes and only have the final result of the cv as of right now, Links still need to be added! Henry gave me the go ahead on the information and layout so that is all I need to add!

 

Id like to have some room for my achievements as I have some things I want employers to know so i have to try and make space for it!

POSTER DESIGN

I want to do a fun/cute poster based on posters of children films or films targeted towards younger teens!

 

POSTER DESIGNS 

Henry told me to go for the first line 3rd thumbnail’s idea, he likes the more minimalist style and wants me to focus on the note passing without being too literal with the concept He mentioned that having a poster based on a scene in the film works well.

Henry told me to pick 5 from these 20  and show Sarah in the next class, i decided to take my own photos and edit them together to get a better idea of composition for the title and for a clearer look at the posing of the characters/their hands etc. I’ll show these to Sarah along with the ones I picked from my peers opinions.

 

 

 

I like the paper texture/design and the doodles along with the writing as its themed to my film heavily. I wanna lean towards cute and sweet for my poster, I want the audience to think of my film in a “Aww” kind of way through this poster! Henry mentioned that the hands are too close to the edge so to bring them in, ill do that in my next batch!

 

 

FINAL POSTER

 

This is my final poster! Though it isn’t my favorite, I think that it suits the film well! cute and simple enough to get the idea across.  I cant wait to see it up with my display.
