ANIMATIC PARTS
FIRST ANIMATIC (CUT)
After talking to Henry and my tutorial group everything after 1:27 minutes was cut. I will go on to work on simplifying the story and keeping it within the school as the feedback below suggests.

Going forward I will be using these shorts as reference for this new take on the story for acting, comedy and the overall vibe of the animations.
BOARDING OF NEW ANIMATIC WITH NEW/ CHANGED STORYLINE
Taking this feedback into consideration I went ahead and started to rethink my story, keeping the boys in the school environment. As Henry said the opening was strong I sketched a mock up of a revised bullying scene. It was mentioned that it was strange for Bonk to be bullied a the start of the day as usually bullies don’t want to get caught, so keeping that in mind I changed Chad from bothering him to threatening him in class. I showed Henry not too long after where I got the feedback below.

After this I took on his feedback and applied the birds eye view bullying scenes as well as making the consoling scene clearer. Henry said that this was working much better than before!!
during my talk with Dara I was thumbnailing ideas for after the consoling scene and for the ending. I went through my storyboard that I had, explaining the story and showing some Pre-production work. I had also mentioned Henry’s initial feedback from other weeks to keep the ending open ended. Feedback below

BACKGROUNDS AND COLOUR
Cut bedroom background.

i ripped some of the background roughs from my animatic and played with the colours, i had some issues with tone ratio but going forward ill focus on keeping the lightest tone not lighter than the whites on the character’s clothing!

ANIMATION TESTS

I want to throw this test into after effects along with another test I’m planning to do compositing tests for my film. Id like to focus on soft compositing with out harsh shadows. the tutorials i’ll be using are below!
