While Ellie focussed on finalising designs and turnarounds I got to work on the storyboards. I would roughly thumbnail the shots and ask Ellie for critique and we would work to improve them. Getting into the headspace of a horror film was difficult at first and it was a learning curve, but I tried to push myself where I could.
With these shots finished we went on to the animatic.
I used ToonSquid for the animatic as it is the app we also plan to animated with. This edit was rough, but it helped us figure out what we wanted to do with our film going forward.
