When I had to make quick changes to my storyboard after a teammate noticed a continuity issue the staging for shot 5 was a close-up of Fern talking to the Headmistress that felt very natural and claustrophobic. I moved the camera out to a midshot for the final shot 5 and the action became more clear.

I found the perspective of this shot very difficult. In retrospect, two-point perspective would have been a better guide than one point perspective.
This was the last shot I animated and it builds on everything I have learned and experimented with.
After completing the background I animated a plan for the main and secondary action in Adobe Animate under a 2hr time limit so I wouldn’t waste time as I did on the test for shot 2.
I then drew my final frames in Photoshop and transferred the PNGs to animate.
The Headmistress needed to react to what Fern was saying but since she is not the main focus in this scene I saved time using limited animation.
