Whilst editing the animatic I realised that it was too long. I cut the shots I storyboarded of the headmistress taking a deep relaxing breath in . Whilst it was good for pacing It doesn’t add to or push the story forward. The second shot conveys a similar idea as the Headmistress observes the school she now rules over.

I really enjoyed this exercise and I’m excited to make more animatics for personal projects.
My animatic comes in over the 15-second limits to 20 seconds. This isn’t a big issue or time stress because 3 of my shots are stagnant images, The portrait at the start and the two shots of limited animation. The fully animated shots 2,4 and 5 are 13 seconds altogether
