IXD103 – User Research and Defining 5 Values
After deciding my company name I then wanted to define my 5 core values that will represent the company to the consumer. Before brainstorming I decided to research what values are key to a consumer in the modern market, especially in relation to banking and I saw a range of different answers ranging from flexibility to safety to customer focused.
As my bank will be an online bank similar to a company like Monzo I decided to see if I could find what their customers like about them and their values and see if I could gain any inspiration. What differentiates Monzo from all the other banks is the excellent customer service it provides. Its innovation on the customer service side of things is a major contributor to its growth and as a result of this my brand should have the same customer focused and reliable values that will mean the consumer will have any problem they have answered efficiently. They have a connection with their consumers which is why they have such a loyal consumer base and I would like my brand to implement the same. I have attached my initial 5 values for my brand along with a mock up of it’s logo also.
