IXD 101: Wax On Wax Off Submission

For our first project we were tasked with using our base knowledge of Point, Line Plane from our first two weeks in class and create our own 3×3 grids demonstrating each technique.

Part One:

For the first stage of the project we had to create 3×3 grids each being 480 x 480 pixels on Figma and using these to express our full understanding of the words we had been given using nothing but dots and circles. These are my final designs:

Part Two:

The second part of the project was similar to the first, again using the 3 x 3 grids but this time instead of expressing our meaning of the words we were given instead we had to demonstrate our understanding of the terms rhythm, frequency, symmetry and asymmetry using nothing but lines. These are my final designs:

Part Three:

For the final part of the project we used the 3 x 3 grid and expressed our own ideas using nothing but 5 planes for each individual grid. These are my final designs:
