IXD102: Week 4-Group Critique

In class this week we held a group critique where we discussed and reviewed each person’s type specimen screens, providing constructive and helpful feedback. I found this class very helpful as it allowed me to get an expertise insight into my work, getting advice on how I could improve my designs further.

In the critique my third design was the one that was highlighted for improvement so I used this advice and tweaked my designs ever so slightly. In my final design I decided to rework the shaping of the type coming from the ‘G’ in the top left and also realigning the small paragraph in the bottom left corner. With further small tweaking to the positioning on the screen I feel very happy with my final design.
