Our overall assessment for animation was to create an original character along with a backstory.

Below is my character design as well as a few sentences about him:

My character Kade is based off of a Kelpie which is a Scottish mythical creature. The setting he would live in is a small town that’s nearby a lake, like Killin in Scotland which is near the Loch Tay. The reason I based him off of a Scottish mythical creature is because I have a love for mythical creatures and I’m half Scottish so a humanoid kelpie combines those two things.

I enjoyed this assessment a lot as I enjoy creating my own characters and I already have several original characters of my own. Kade was a lot of fun to create and his turntable gave me the opportunity to practice different perspectives as well as animating too.
