Alt means – Portraits

On the first half of the first day of alt means on collaborate, we were split into pairs to draw each others portraits using different types of material. I was paired with Alyssa and below are the portraits I drew of her during class:

I wasn’t overly happy with how they turned out. They’re small and were done quite quickly, I feel like I could have spent more time on them and made them bigger as well.

Out of all them, I think the pencil one (top left) was the best as it was the most true to life and the most portrait like. I think the square abstract one (bottom right) was a close second in terms of quality as I have never done anything abstract wise before and I think it turned out ok even though it wasn’t as good as the pencil portrait.

Unfortunately, realism isn’t my strong suit but I did my best with these portraits of Alyssa even if they were done somewhat quickly.
