Lady with a fan by Gustav Klimt
I prefer the image with the folding fan as I like how the red in the flowers complement the lipstick and shawl. After experimenting with a different background I decided to go with this one as I thought that the busy pattern resembled the original artworks despite the colour difference.

I replaced the hat in the original painting with a baseball cap to make it more modern. I used a beige curtain as the backdrop and wore a white top to try to keep it as close to he original as possible.

The point of this photograph was to change the vibrant scene to a dark polluted one to show how we damage the environment. I added green paint to the water to give it a murky appearance and placed wrappers and toy pieces to act as rubbish as I needed them to be in scale with the barbie doll. I also added toy tulips to show resemblance to the original artwork.
Experiments
I dislike how the wallpaper looks in this image, it appears too drab in comparison to the other option.
Other options for the Albert Lynch portrait, I preferred the chosen image as the composition wasn’t as zoomed in and the facial expression was more serious like in the painting.
