For this project we were asked to create houses on stilts and a city scape. I used cardboard for my houses. I found the tasks challenging to complete in the time limit but really enjoyed this project.
For the first task we had a limited amount of time to create a house on stilts. I chose to place my house on a wall in my garden as I imagined it would be placed up high overlooking the world, perhaps as a watch tower.
For the second task we had limited time to create another house on stilts, this time adding colour. I chose to do a house inspired by the fairy-tale Rapunzel, to portray this i added sting hanging out of a window to act as hair. I used green to mimic moss and orange for bricks. I placed this among grass and saplings so it appeared as if it was in an uncharted environment.
I chose to do a harbour scene city scape, I painted bubble wrap for the sea.
