Chine-colle printmaking adds another layer to the same print process we had used for the other dry point plates then cutting out the tissue paper to the desired shape then using pritt stick and gluing one side and laying it on the plate glue side up ready to be stuck to the paper with the ink so the design still gets printed onto the colour. This was quite tricky but I adore the results I really want to try this again. I accented certain elements in the images and played around which I really had fun doing, and I think they turned out really well i varied from general shapes and ones that fit better which both worked well. I really like the block colours style it gives it a graphic pop similar in effect to Spare’s work.
I also rolled extra ink on the plate after rubbing away the excess black ink, as well as using the tissue paper in blocky shapes which worked well as do the colours.
