Week 1 Models

The first models I created were the table and chairs.

These were the simplest things to model, as I used the basic polygon models, resized them to become the correct size and combined them.

I also made glasses and plates for the table and later created glasses and food.

Next model I created was a chair mimic. I first created the cushion by smoothing a cube model, turning them into spheres and resizing and stretching them to look like a seat and back.

I went for more of a cartoon-y style for the creature through the exaggerated features like the teeth and eyes. I used different polygon models for several of the teeth and used different eye and pupil sizes. The seat representing the top half of it’s mouth.

After, I modeled a wine glass. I started by using the Face function to cut a sphere in half and then added a long cylinder for the stem.

I smoothed a sphere and expanded several of it’s faces to create the liquid in the glass.

I made a vase using spheres.

I duplicated and moved around around the edges of the top of the vase.

The last thing I modeled was a chair. I first designed the back of the chair.

I designed it after office chairs, so I put detail in the mechanisms that are seen in those types of chairs.

This is the end result.
