I have taken images of ornaments and pieces from around my house I felt fitted the ‘kitsch’ theme and brought them together to be photographed and edited.

I then thought I would focus in on particular aspects of the image and draw them in different mediums and techniques.

I like the idea of ‘Kitsch’ being art for the home so I created this Pom Pom tassel- I think it would be nice to add like fringing around a piece.

I also like to make paper cut imagery, I decided to take the outlines from the image of the kitsch objects and recreate it in paper, below is my plan I made on photoshop before I cut it out in paper also.
