TADF Textile design development
To further develop my ideas, I have put together some of my pieces and placed them on my illustration of a sofa. I like how the bright colours of the cushions contrast the base of the sofa.
TADF Final Piece images
This is my completed final piece. I am happy with how this has turned out- in particular I really love the Pom Pom sections of this piece. I think the two hangings compliment each other whilst remaining very different which is what I wanted to happen.

TADF Final Piece Construction
I planned out how I would construct my panels and in what order I would place each one. I thought it would be best to machine stitch the cotton hanging and then loosely hand sew the felted/wool hanging. here I have hung them on my wardrobe just to see how it looks when stretched out.
TADF Final Piece Progress, Wet Felted Panels
I wet felted three ‘tartan’ pieces for my final piece too. I love the bright colours working together and think these will look really well amongst the rest of my panels.
