For this task, we were told to only use line to draw our surroundings. For my first attempt at this task, I drew the corner of my house and tried to focus on the windows using only line. I found it challenging to create the wall texture with this technique. For the second piece, I drew a scene from my back garden. I wanted to make it energetic and busy, I tried to fill the whole page this time and add as much line as possible while still keeping the forms and shapes of the buildings and foliage. Initially, I found this task quite difficult, but once I got more involved with it, I soon found it to be exciting.
