To begin this project I began by making a mindmap to highlight the information provided in the brief and to see if I could draw any inspiration from it.

For the project I decided to focus on the ‘sustainable’ aspect of the brief and tried to create and draw inspiration from that. I made a Pinterest board with a range of ideas ranging from illustrative work to more geometric design work.

I also researched a variety of buses, both from previous bespoke Translink buses but also other buses from different places in the world to try and get some inspiration and potential layout ideas.

 

For my final bus design, I’m thinking of using more geometric designs rather than illustrative ones.  I am also thinking of using a green colour palette.
