These are my final designs for the poster promoting the Margaret Calvert exhibition: Woman at Work. I worked to ensure all the posters were more or less finish and completed before I could choose the final design that I would use as a promotional poster. I designed a number of posters all with different aesthetics and numerous elements to see what version of the poster I liked best and I felt best suited Calvert and her work

However, I have decided to use this design as my final promotional poster. It features the letter ‘a’, as well as sketch lines. But to be sure I had the correct design composition I decided to reconsider the layout. I experimented with the size, colour of the background as well as the weight of the lines.
