I began this task by picking my favourite 3 or 4 sketches from each letter sketch I had done previously. I hadn’t used Fontstruct before so I decided to experiment with the programme. I created both round and straight lined characters, but IfFound, particularly with some of my sketches it was quite hard to produce what I had previously designed as the programme has “blocks” and I couldn’t really manipulate the sketches a much as I would have liked to. Although I do like the way my letter ‘B’ came out using this programme

I then decided to create the letters using the Procreate app as I have worked with it before and knew that I could create the letters and manipulate them with ease to fit my original sketches. I used a sketching grid to ensure my letters lined up evenly and were around the same size.
After completing the full alphabet, I plan to mix and match letters to create a couple of different alphabets and select the ones that look the best and flows easily.
