For this task we were asked to create an alphabet of letters in a geometric style and unique style. I began this task by doing a mindmap of what I wanted to do and shapes I wanted to use for my alphabet. I concluded I wanted a simple, minimalist style of lettering. I then created a second mind map and broke down each letter into its main components and how basic I could make the shape without disfiguring it completely.

 

I then began sketching out possible styles of each letter. I then recreated the ones I felt worked best and inked them out with black marker so that I could see them clearly.
