Animation- Stop motion

We were tasked with creating a series of simple stop motion animations. Before beginning this task we learnt about the 12 principles of animation. In this task we were going to be investigating the principle of timing.  This principle involves the spacing of the object and how a more spaced out frame creates an acceleration where are if the spacing is more close together the object in question slows down.

I used this principle to create three stop motion animations. The first I used equal spacing to produce an object moving at a   constant speed.

The next I increased the spacing in the middle while made the spaces smaller at the start and end of the animation. This allowed the object to appear to be accelerating.

In this animation I tried to incorporate the constant speed and an acceleration and deceleration.
