For this task we were asked to use a drawing from the environment project we had completed at the beginning of term. I chose one i drew of the leisure centre in my town. I choose this as it was quite angular and geometric, also I had added additional lines tot he drawing so i thought it would be an interesting picture to base my ceramic off of. I used a  viewfinder to locate a section of the image that would be interesting for sculpting.

I then used a marker to copy the selected area onto two pieces of A6 paper.

I then created an outline of clay and used the lines as a template to creating my ceramic. I then left it to dry on a cylinder object to make it become more rounded in shape.

This is the finished product. I really enjoyed this task and working with clay as its not something i have really done before.
