Textile Art Design Fashion Photography

I chose 6 different garments, including both tops and bottoms, according to my mood board that I had made previously. I really enjoyed doing this task as I have never photographed fashion or clothes before. I tried to manipulate the garments as best i could to try and distort them. By twisting, folding and crimping the clothes I was able to obscure them rendering them unrecognisable. I experimented with throwing the articles into the air and photographing what had fallen onto the floor, i intertwined different coloured fabrics to try and create a natural contrast and create an interesting vision. My inspiration for this shoot was 18th century Rococo style. I was able to highlight this inspiration more in post editing where I could play with the exposure and black point more.
