Due to losing her hearing Scott used the method as a form of communication to reconnect with her sister and family. Each piece of yarn and every section of fabric is carefully selected and precisely woven and interlaced to form these cocoon structures. There is a sense of mysterious energy to each piece, they are filled with kinetic energy, they aren’t static. Each line takes a life of its own and urges and entices the viewer to follow.
