Painting Workshop – Finished pieces 2
Painting Workshop
Final Pieces
The second of the two pieces is a larger piece 71.0×100.0cm.
This piece was made by mangling multiple layers of collage and hiding them under layers of pink, orange and cream acrylic washes.
For this piece is used an opposing colour pallet with a richer feel. I started off with the red and keeping weakening it with whites and greys to create a variety off choices but keeping it cohesive. Once i was finished with my first layer of reds and pinks i mixed up a new pallet of orange and peach tones.
Just like the blue piece i used the bridge as inspiration using a straight edge and steel rule to create its sharp harsh lines and angels.
Due to its raw sharp lines and energetic vibe it would fit in to any space while also standing out, and would spice up any room from living rooms, office to bedrooms.
A rendering of the painting in a sleek black frame above a bed in a bedroom.
