For this task, I decided to choose this drawing from the first module as I felt it would give me the best linear structure to recreate in the clay. Using a viewfinder, I zoned in on this area as it was very busy and had lines going in different angles which would create an interesting clay piece. At first, I found it very time consuming trying to connect the edges so that they would stay together when taken off the paper.

Once I had shaped each side, using a pencil case to try and make sure both were the same, using cross hatching I connected both edges to create one structure. I found this quite difficult as the clay dried extremely quickly so I had to add a lot of extra pieces to make sure the structure was sound. I am pleased with the outcome of this task.
