Before starting my wireframes, I created a flow diagram of the different parts of the shuffling process. I found this very useful when going to make my wireframes to make sure I didn’t leave anything out.
To begin with, I broke down the main interactions that would be involved in the dice shuffle process and created a few quick wireframe sketches of possibilities for each one. I found there was a lot of similarities and overlaps in each section, which will help when I try to combine them to create more specific wireframes. This also allowed me to then see when I make the combinations what is necessary and what I can leave out.
From these wireframes, I finalised my designs for the different areas that the user would interact with. However, I am still quite unsure of what way to present the questions and categories which the user will answer to generate the suggestions on the dice.
After finalising my wireframe designs, I created more accurate and detailed versions on grid paper to try and work out sizing and proportions. I’m going to use these as a basis for my digital versions on Illustrator.
