For this task, we had to begin with a black and white piece of paper and cut into one to create a range of patterns. I decided to begin with using straight lines as I felt it would be the most effective choice for when the shapes become smaller and they would stay a similar shape. The outcomes I feel were most successful are the second row, with the jaggy lines, as I think they work well together and create interesting composition. In our brief, we were told to explore the words of shape, colour, texture and 3D. Throughout my images I feel that I have explored each of them in different ways.
