Before I began I drew out a simple plan of what pieces of card I would need and what I hoped the final outcome would look like. I decided to use a needle and thread as my way of connecting all the pieces as I felt it would work well with the brown card and create a rustic aesthetic.
The first pieces were the easiest to stitch together, it was whenever I had to add in the small pieces and stitch them together while the house was sitting up. This process was a lot more time consuming than I had originally thought, but I think the final outcome is worth it.
