Following creating my alphabet, I wanted to explore using plastic bags to creating letterforms. I decided to create these two words, ‘Problem’ and ‘Pollution’ as a way of linking the materials and the words. I found the bags quite effective in making letterforms, especially when I incorporated the handles as they allowed me to add the curves of some of the letters. The only problem I came across was when I folded the bags they began to unravel, so I had to resort to using blue tag underneath to keep them in place.
