In this workshop, we were tasked with gathering objects from our surroundings to create letterforms which were then assembled into an alphabet. I found this a lot more challenging than I originally thought it would be. Some letters were easier than others, with objects coming to mind straight away like the ‘c’ and ‘o’. However, the more difficult letter like ‘q’ and ‘f’ took more time and thought. While it was a challenging task, I really enjoyed completing it as it made me really think about how my surroundings can be used to create art.
