After settling on my final theme for my infographic and planning out the information I will include and the order it will go in. I created a few possible ideas until I came up with my final one. I explored both portrait and landscape layouts but found that portrait is the best option as it creates more flow and easier to read. I also had the idea of a brochure, similar to a medical brochure due to the theme, and then place the information on the pages. I wanted to include some illustrations as I feel the more I do them, the more confident I get in creating them. The final sketch I came up with is the design I am going to recreate on Figma as I feel it was the most successful and easiest to follow. I plan for my colour scheme to be pinks and purples with white as well as I feel it will be the most suitable for the theme.
After I set on my design, I brainstormed some quick ideas for possible illustrations I will need. This will accompany facts and figures in text as well as show the information inna illustrative way like bar and graphs. My hope is to create an infographic that is informative and visually appealing.
Moving onto figma I began to build my digital versions of my illustrations and any additional graphs and bars that I wanted to include.
