I found the process of creating multiple options very useful when trying to come to my final decision because my initial idea of what my web essay would look like from my sketches, changed once I recreated it on Figma. I have chosen the orange and black version as my final essay as I really like the vibrant and bold colours as I feel they link back to Saul Bass’ work. I think the layout of my essay is effective in presenting the information in an effective way, that the reader doesn’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of writing and there is a sufficient amount of visual breaks. While I was unsure of the brown/orange colour for some of the backgrounds, I have grown to like it as it takes a break from the bolder orange and black colours. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome for one of my first attempts at building a webpage. However, to improve I would have liked to have been able to be a bit more accurate with the spacing and padding around some of the images and text around them.
