Wall two is much more simple, consisting of two segmented artworks that were made together and made to be placed together. I placed them in downward arcs, mimicking similar ideas in my paintings.

These artworks were simple to make, I painted the oak grounds paint and put tape on top then splashed different colours on top, playing with the idea of chemigrams and mouldy, fungal looking patterns.

I quite like the contrast between this wall and my other one, this is brighter and simpler and more positive feeling but I don’t really think it captures the style u worked so hard on throughout these weeks. I think it feels distant from my work and what I like, my original idea was to add my darker artworks around it but was encouraged to let it be a piece of its own which I don’t mind at all, I just wish it was less pink and cute and a little darker and more gross looking.
