I made more samples of paper folding, this time focusing on techniques and options that I could use for the paper light. After researching paper sculpture/ paper light artists I decided to combine a flower and a jellyfish for my light. I made the head of the jellyfish look like a flower and used different lengths of paper with different folds and cuts to make its tendrils. Overall I’m not terribly pleased with this, it’s certainly not how I imagined or wanted it to look! I find paper folding and cutting quite difficult especially when assembling all the pieces into something 3D and into something bigger.
