The portrait on collage was surprisingly difficult! I really, really love drawing people as it’s what I’m most comfortable with, however this took me by surprise because it was challenging! I’m so used to drawing out my ideas in pencil before that going straight in with paint was a bit of a shock! I painted Charlie, who is pictured, and I’m not quite sure I did him justice! It was fun doing it though and the concertina was a nice change, I liked how the focus was more on techniques rather than a full drawing or study I found it quite refreshing and I like how it folds out.
