These photos are a few of my digital experimentation sketch’s just to get used to drawing digitally. I followed the videos and tried to get a stable technique down to when using animation. I loved how free flowing it was and you are not bound to anything, I tried a range of techniques from circles to squares and I tired adding in a few shadows just to highlight 3D objects, this made me feel more comfortable moving forward designing my character.

These are my character quick sketches exploring the emotions of my characters and how my characters image would change through different emotions. I wanted to explore how the body and the face would move at the same time and how it would use its body to convey emotions.

Name : Mallowstick
Backstory : Mallowstick was born as a sidekick. Her sweet treat body highlights to others happiness and joy and how you can treat yourself once in a while. With her bright colours she spreads joy and wonder to others , while also leaving behind that wonderful chocolate trail , Yummy !
Advantages : Spreading happiness and joy
Disadvantages : sometimes her body is a little to small and she can’t keep up !
In the world : She fits in just perfectly at the sweet store for a sweet treat and also at Christmas for a buddy !
