Museum Trip

I felt as if these were successful as I have never used charcoal as a medium before. I found it tricky to start off with and finding out how I can fill the space with the charcoal. I feel like the last picture is my most successful as it shows a sense of environment and how the page is full with textures and

mark-making with my charcoal. If I were to do this again I would do one with a much more sense of darkness and try and use an eraser tohighlight bright points. I feel as if my shading in the octopus picture is very effective with smooth blends and bits of

texture highlighted on the top.
