Expressive Mark Making
I had initially thought about continuing a theme of incorporating patterns and shapes from my environment which included florals and fruit, however I was intrigued to refresh my head and try working on something I have been eager to experiment with and decided to try this technique through shapes and mark making to add juxtaposition to my project with a ‘modern twist’ opposed to the vintage aesthetic I have been following.
Ink and Alcoholic Pen strokes 
Using my rough and quick sketches I was keen on creating abstract strokes using the various brush tools on illustrator and photoshop and decided to emphasise and exaggerate textures, shape, lines, space, colour and value using a slight variation of colour palette for contrast.
I then printed a few samples to form a mini digital and physical zine and personally loved the outcome once I stapled the pieces together
