Alt means mark making

I created most of my mark making tools from items found in the shed and garden; it was fun to consider what items could be used in a new way.

When I was experimenting with the tools it was interesting to see that the marks sometimes turned out differently from how I expected. I thought that the nail head might leave a cross imprint but it simply gathered the ink leaving circles, and I thought the feather might just bend but it made interesting waved lines instead.

The items used are: small leaves, a bobby pin, gathered string, bubble wrap, part of a timer, tinfoil, a large leaf, netting, a nail, sandpaper, a pipe cleaner and a feather.
