What Elements of the brand identity appealed to you and why?
Route Ones logo doesn’t cling to superficial cosmetics, instead they have chosen a minimalistic but bold font for their brand. This may not generally be deemed as being very creative however the logos font still stands out and accentuates the urban current of the brand itself. I do not personally always enjoy a simplistic approach when it comes to logos but in this instance it really does appeal to me and gives the brand a sense of sensibility it may not get with a different approach.
What is the personality of the brand?
The brands personality is definitely showcased as being very professional. They have easily established themselves as being very independent and modern. The logo is so simple but effective that it stands out in-store and online on their website and social medias. So really has that new generation and urban edge to it that other brands may not grasp as effectively.
Why do you feel it is successful/effective?
The companies brand is successful to me, it appeals to and attracts customers from a range of backgrounds primarily those interested in street fashion and skate culture. Even though it is definitely more of a premium brand, it is a lot more affordable then other brands that their customers may be attracted to for example “Supreme”. And for me personally I always think of Route One first when I am doing related shopping and I really do feel like the logo and branding are a very large factor in this proving that they have branded successfully.
