Week 1 –

We were tasked to find characters that we wanted to study the forms and shapes of to better understand how to design a character using basic shapes.

I decided on two characters from the 2020 film by Cartoon Saloon, Wolfwalkers, because their forms contrast differently from each other and shows the differences in personalities.

I decided on the two characters from Wolfwalkers as both have differences in their design from their height difference to how their clothes, yet both share the same shape form with cylindrical bodies with the only difference being their hair and face to represent their differences in attitudes as well.
