For this week, I will attend to correct my mistakes in my Showreel and my CV that my teacher pointed out when I gave him my files. Alongside having the mock up interview with my lecturers to prepare myself for the 3rd year of when I am going to do for work placement.
Fixing my mistake
Firstly I began by fixing my mistakes in CV which there were a lot of them. Firstly I began by reducing the font size to be able to make the text fit in the CV. I then also tried to redo some of the text layout to try and make it fit neatly in the CV. I was slowly chipping away at this CV and then I looked at it and began to realize, It looked very plane and very limiting in how much text space I had available. While at first I wanted to make a new one in Word, I instead I decided to use Photoshop due to how limited the amount of customization Word had in comparison to Photoshop. So, I opened up new file in the new program and created a new Canvas with the A4 paper size.
Next, I immediately started creating the layout of the of the paper of the CV, by putting a giant rectangle with a blue colour on the left side of the screen by using the rectangle tool on the bottom left size of the tool bar. Alongside using the Ellipse tool to create an area for the profile.
After, the text from the word document is going to be put onto this new CV by using the Text Tool. Now, my CV looks like this. Lastly, I also decided for a the Software section, to use the logos of the softwares that I use for a much easier readability for my future employer. Now that, I have written everything that I needed, All I have to do now is to save this new file as a PNG and send it away to Henry for any improvement that I need to make to my new CV.
For the showreel, all I had to do was to remove this clip from my showreel. Reason for this, is due to it not looking as high quality as the other animations in the showreel. Another small thing that I had to change was the timing of how long is the title gonna be on the screen and shifting around the animation clips have a strong start and a strong finish.

Overall
Overall, I am pretty happy with this week as I got valuable feedback for my CV, Showreel. One bad thing about this week was that I wasn’t good at scheduling my time properly .
