Week 10
For this part of the week I had to work on creating a finished animation based on the animatic. So for the first part I began working on the background as I felt like it was the biggest obstacle that i need to break first. So I used the rough as a template/sketch for the environment and did some corrections.
First I had to create a the perspective of the room so I know how the objects will fit and so I added. Then added some extra colour and lineart to the environment. For this one I made sure that i stuck to blue and purple tones to indicate the levels of threat each location poses. The further away from the radiation the bluer it is and safer.
I also added some extra object for when I’m going to be using in After Effects.
For the reference of the room I looked at police interview rooms. The reason being that they looks so interesting me and it fitted the tone of the world.

Once I finished the room. I started doing the animation by doing the may keyframes.
Overall, I am pleased with how the room looks and my blending abilities in photoshop. One thing that I am disappointed is that I didn’t get much done with the animation like the other students. However, I promise to work on it.
