For this part of the task I had to learn about different perspective points that can be used in a drawing, create 12 thumbnail sketches for the environment that will exist in the Design a World project. Also at the end of this task, I will talk more about the project and what I have contributed to the group so far.
1 Point Perspective
For the first part of the task, I had to analyze photos or drawings from films and tv show and try to breakdown what point of perspective has been used in it. For the first 3 I had to find where is the one point perspective. For these three it was quite is to find them as I had to look for the horizon line which let me to find the main point of focus easier. Here are the 3 photos I chose.
Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse
Ghost in the Shell (1995)
Kill la Kill
2 Point Perspective
For two point perspective it was a bit difficult to do as a few of the shots had the points of perspective off the screen and had to minimize the image to find the points. The points are found in a similar way with the only exception you have to find two points instead of one.
Design a World
We were also informed about a project that we will be working on for this semester. Its called Design a World. For this task we were paired into groups of 5 to create a world of our choosing. So i got put in a team of 5 and begun brainstorming with the team of what the concept of our world will be. We had a lot of choices but at the end of the day we chose the idea of people having the powers of the Constellation. So far we are still thinking of the story. With that said, I worked on some of the designs for the protagonists. One of them is called Orion the Hunter.

I also had to make 12 thumbnail sketches of what the environments of the project might looks like using things like composition and perspectives. Here are the thumbnail sketches that I made.
Overall, I am very happy with this task, as I felt like I am getting the hang of thinks like perspective. One thing that I could have done better is the thumbnail sketches as they felt lack luster in comparison to the other ones.
