UV’ing
To create a smooth texture on the bath I had to separate the rings on the circular bowl. This allowed the uvs to unstretch.
Creating the rust for the piping of the sink and bath. I’m going to use the same texture for both so there is equal amounts of rust on the metal and the ageing looks consistent.
My original bath material is a simple plastic from substance painter. However when I import this into the scene, it looks too clean cut for the ageing process I am going for, and is very shiny and reflective.
I changed the bath material to a concrete style. By lowering the height intensity of the texture, this was the closest I could replicate to eroded ceramic. I’m going to use this material for both the sink, bath and toilet.
